RF7C-E30 Photoluminescent Resilient Floor Nosing

The RF7C-E30 photoluminescent stair nosing has been designed to allow a flush installation with resilient floorings. Ecoglo®’s signature step edge visibility is intergrated into this step edge product in two ways. Firstly, the start contrast between the non-slip grip and the photoluminescent strips provides excellent visibility in everyday circumstances. In emergency situations, our luminous egress stair nosing shines! Once the power cuts out Ecoglo®’s photoluminescent step edge marking will shine for hours on end, illuminating the egress path and guiding patrons to safety. This aluminum stair nosing will bring your building up to code, and is extremely durable, requiring little maintenance.

Our team at Ecoglo® is renowned amongst photoluminescent signs suppliers for producing quality and clear visibility solutions that will reduce the risk of slip and fall accidents in your building and provide clear egress instructions in emergency circumstances. To accomplish this, we manufacture every product with our patented process to produce long-lasting and fast-charging photoluminescent products that are both UV stable and highly durable. Remember… with Ecoglo®, you’ll never miss a step!

General Information

  • Install flush with resilient flooring using adhesive and mechanical fasteners
  • Countersunk pre-drilled holes. Includes stainless steel fasteners and concrete nylon anchors. Standard location is 2″ from each end and approx. 12″ apart.
  • Available in cut to length sizes. (Tolerance +or- 1/8”) Standard lengths are 8ft and 10ft.
  • Inserts are supplied unattached. Inserts are installed over the mechanical fasteners using a polyurethane adhesive (included). Inserts can be cut using a shear. Aluminum nosings are cut with a saw. Cutting inserts with saw will damage the saw blade.
  • Weight: 0.586 lbs/ft.

Aluminum Finish

  • Available in Clear Anodized Aluminum Finish
  • Black, Light Bronze and, Dark Bronze Anodize finishes are available at an additional cost
Ecoglo RF7C-E30 Photoluminescent Resilient Flooring Stair Nosing Dimensions
Metal Stair Nosing Engineered for Durability
  • Manufactured using Ecoglo’s patented process which produces the most durable and highly efficient photoluminescent product available.
  • Unique ridges in the photoluminescent strips protect it from most abrasive wear. They provide slip resistance while still allowing the product to be easily cleaned.
  • The hard-wearing silicon carbide non-slip material is integrally bonded to the aluminum substrate. Thousands of people can walk on it with no signs of wear and tear.
  • The thick anodized finish is aesthetically pleasing, prevents corrosion, and is extremely hard and abrasion resistant. The anodized aluminum surface is harder than pure aluminum, second only to diamonds hard crystalline structure.
Step Edge Safety
  • The color contrasting the non-slip material with advanced photoluminescent technology provides step edge visibility in all light conditions.
  • The unique ridges in the Ecoglo® photoluminescent strips and the integrated anti-slip contrast strips provide all-weather slip resistance.
for Indoor use and Outdoor Use
  • Tested to accelerated UV/weathering exposure, and proven to be highly resistant to the effects of UV/weathering.
  • The loss in performance is less than can be detected by the human eye when subjected to 6000 hours of UV exposure, which is similar to 30 years of outdoor exposure.
  • The polymer used in Ecoglo’s patented process is “long chain” which forms a strong UV resistant product when bonding.
Environmentally Friendly Aluminum Stair Nosing
  • Ecoglo® cares about creating a sustainable future, and as such have designed our aluminum stair nosing to be LEED Points qualified. This means our product will improve your building’s energy efficiency and contribute towards a greener future.
  • Our stair strips will consume zero energy in your facility thanks to their photoluminescent strips that are powered by existing lights in your building.
  • Like every Ecoglo® product, this product is non-toxic and non-radioactive.
  • Our metal stair nosing can be easily recycled at no additional disposal cost.

Leed Data
