F3-G Photoluminescent flat Stair Nosing

Ecoglo®’s F3-G Photoluminescent Aluminum Flat Stair Nosing provides excellent step-edge visibility in all lighting conditions and is a great luminous egress path marking product for any facility. Easy installed on a range of substrates, such as concrete, timber, tiles, steel, checker plate and thin carpet, this aluminum stair nosing brings your facility up to code. Our expertly engineered photoluminescent strip has been integrally bonded into the aluminum non-slip stair tread to increase step-edge visibility and lower the risk of injury. The sleek profile of the metal stair nosing helps to modernize and renovate the facility, without distracting from the design.

After gaining a charge from either a natural or artificial light source, Ecoglo®’s photoluminescent anti-slip stair nosing illuminates the egress path, for hours after the power has failed.

General Information

  • Install with polyurethane adhesive and mechanical fasteners, or adhesive only.
  • Supplied with pre-drilled countersunk holes with stainless steel fasteners and concrete nylon anchors included. Standard hole location is 2″ from each end and approx. 12″ apart.
  • Available in cut to length sizes. (Tolerance +or- 1/8”) Standard lengths are 8ft and 10ft.
  • Supplied with inserts attached.
  • Weight: 0.456 lbs/ft.

  • Black, Light Bronze and, Dark Bronze Anodize finish are available at an additional cost

  • Manufactured using Ecoglo’s patented process which produces the most durable and highly efficient photoluminescent product available.
  • Unique ridges in the photoluminescent strips protect it from most abrasive wear. They provide slip resistance while still allowing the product to be easily cleaned.
Step Edge Safety
  • The advanced photoluminescent technology provides step edge visibility in al light conditions.
  • The unique ridges in the Ecoglo® photoluminescent strips and the integrated anti-slip contrast strips provide all-weather slip resistance.
Stir Nosing Inserts for Indoor and Outdoor Use
  • Tested to accelerated UV/weathering exposure, and proven to be highly resistant to the effects of UV/weathering.
  • The loss in performance is less than can be detected by the human eye when subjected to 6000 hours of UV exposure, which is similar to 30 years of outdoor exposure.
  • The polymer used in Ecoglo’s patented process is “long chain” which forms a strong UV resistant product when bonding.
