RF7-N30 Flat Stair Nosing

The Ecoglo® RF7-N30 Flat Stair Nosing will provide your facility with stellar step edge color contrast and long-lasting anti-slip protection. Our team designed this aluminum stair nosing’s anodized surface to effectively combat the wear and tear of everyday use and shifts in the surrounding climate while still managing to look great. We engineered this metal stair nosing with an 85-degree angle to allow for more versatile installation options. This product can also be installed on a wide range of applications; including steel, tiles, concrete, timber, and checker plate stairs.   • Thousands of people can walk on our aluminum stair nosing with no signs of wear and tear due to the integral bonding of the hard-wearing silicon carbide non-slip material to the aluminum substrate.
  • Our stair strips’ thick anodized finish is aesthetically pleasing, prevents corrosion, and is extremely hard and abrasion-resistant. The anodized aluminum surface is also harder than pure aluminum – second only to the hard-crystalline structure of diamonds.
Stair Strips For Indoor Use and Outdoor Use
  • Ecoglo®’s aluminum stair nosing easily passed multiple rigorous tests to ensure longevity in a variety of conditions, including UV/weathering exposure, Salt Spray Resistance, Freeze-Thaw Resistance, and Washability.

General Information

  • Install these non-slip steps with polyurethane adhesive and mechanical fasteners, or with adhesive only.
  • Our abrasive stair nosing comes supplied with stainless steel fasteners, concrete nylon anchors, and pre-drilled countersunk holes – the standard location of which is 2” from each end of the stair nosing and approximately 12” apart.
  • Ecoglo® aluminum nosing comes in standard lengths of 8ft and 10ft as well as cut to length sizes (tolerance of + or = 1/8”).
  • The non-slip inserts are supplied unattached and can be easily installed over the mechanical fasteners using a polyurethane adhesive – which is included. The inserts can be cut using a shear, while aluminum nosings are cut with a saw. Warning: cutting inserts with a saw will damage the saw blade.
