RC5-N30 Non-Slip Carpet Stair Nosing
Ecoglo®’s RC5-N30 Non-Slip Anodized Carpet Stair Nosings have been designed to enhance the safety of carpeted stairs in your facility. Our expertly engineered non-slip strip has been integrally bonded into anodized aluminum to create an extremely durable non-slip solution. This stair nosing will install flush with carpet to prevent trips and falls in your facility’s stairways. The sleek anodized aluminum profile is sure to modernize and enhance the look of your building, without sacrificing safety.
Using a premium polyurethane adhesive and mechanical fasteners allows for a permanent, durable installation. Our stair nosings can with stand the wear and tear of heavy foot traffic in all facilities, and require very little maintenance to perform their best.

General Information
- Install with polyurethane adhesive and mechanical fasteners, or adhesive only.
- Supplied with pre-drilled countersunk holes. Includes stainless steel fasteners and concrete nylon anchors. Standard location is 2″ from each end and approx. 12″ apart.
- Available in cut to length sizes. (Tolerance +or- 1/8”) Standard lengths are 8ft and 10ft.
- Inserts are supplied unattached. Inserts are installed over the mechanical fasteners using a polyurethane adhesive (included). Inserts can be cut using a shear. Aluminum nosings are cut with a saw. Cutting inserts with saw will damage the saw blade. Inserts are installed with a premium polyurethane adhesive.

Aluminum Finish
- Available in Clear Anodized Aluminum Finish.
- Black, Light Bronze and Dark Bronze Anodize finishes are available at additional cost.
- The hard-wearing silicon carbide non-slip material is integrally bonded to the aluminum substrate. Thousands of people can walk on it with no signs of wear and tear.
- The thick anodized finish is aesthetically pleasing, prevents corrosion, and is extremely hard and abrasion resistant. The anodized aluminum surface is harder than pure aluminum, second only to diamonds hard crystalline structure.
- Tested to accelerated UV/Weathering Exposure, Salt Spray Resistance, Freeze-Thaw Resistance and Washability, Ecoglo® products easily passed with excellent results.
